kubik

Same words. Different dice.

Kubik is a design skill for Claude Code and Codex. It makes pages, reports, slides, figures and design systems that do not come out looking alike.

One message, seven worlds

Scroll. The same message is thrown again and again, and each throw changes the colour, the type, the graphics and the layout.

Ask in your own words. Kubik throws the dice for the rest.

A word from you can pin a choice or tilt the odds. Whatever you leave open is read from the occasion, then rolled. One concept gets drawn, and a real browser opens the result before it reaches you.

How the dice get thrown

Five steps, the same for a page, a report, a deck, a page of figures or a design system.

  1. You say what you want to see

A mood, a colour, a reference, what you are tired of. Whatever you leave unsaid is read from the occasion: who reads the piece, where, and what they do with it.

  2. Your words and the occasion tilt the dice

A thing you name is settled. A direction gets more weight. Then the dice are thrown for what is left, with a real random source, so the work does not start from the likeliest answer.

  3. Three concepts, one signed

Each concept fits in a line. The one worth signing is chosen, and one moment is named: the thing a visitor would stop on.

  4. Everything stands in one frame

True content, text that can be read, every width, the keyboard, controls that answer, motion that can be stopped. Repair the defect, keep the effect.

  5. A real browser looks first

The piece is opened at desktop and phone width, in dark mode and with reduced motion, walked with the Tab key and rendered once without script. A closing note says what was done.

Ask as briefly or as fully as you like

  • kubik: slides about the quarter
  • kubik: a report, quiet, like a newspaper, green
  • kubik: landing for the plugin, loud, dark, no purple
  • kubik: a page like this one (a link or a screenshot), but ours

What changes when nobody decided

Two pairs. Each left side is what a model writes when nobody decided anything, written for this page. Each right side is the same job with kubik.

Drag the handle or use the arrow keys. The product, Harbour, is made up for this page; both landing pages are drawn here, neither is a real site.

The same for the words

Kubik runs a second skill over every string it puts on a page, and it can rewrite any text on its own.

A model's default paragraph

  • words that only mean importance
  • a contrast with nobody on the other side
  • a run-up before the point
  • sales verbs
The same paragraph, rewritten

Kubik is a skill for Claude Code and Codex that designs pages, reports, slides, figures and design systems. Tell it what you want to see, in any words. It throws dice for whatever you left open, draws one concept, and opens the result in a real browser before it hands it to you.

Cut: the opener, the importance words, the staged contrast, the closing question. Kept: what it is, who it is for, what happens to your words, the check.

Pieces thrown by kubik

Ten finished pieces on sample content, from three kinds of work, each in a world the dice gave it. Press one to fall into it. The sample text is in Russian.

Throw it yourself

Install the plugin, then ask in your own words.

Claude Code

/plugin install kubik@kubik

Codex

codex plugin marketplace add stakost/kubik

Then open /plugins and install kubik. Codex asks once whether to trust the plugin's hooks.

The dice need only bash. The lint needs Node 16 or newer. The browser audit and the deck photographer need Node 22 or newer and a Chromium-family browser; without one, kubik says what was not checked and carries on.
